An exciting opportunity is available for a Capex Program Manager to lead and coordinate delivery of multiple capital projects across the Broadmeadows site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring capital programs are delivered safely, compliantly and in alignment with site and global priorities.

You will apply strong program and project management expertise to plan, prioritise and govern a portfolio of small to medium capital projects, while optimising resources and managing interdependencies. The role also requires close coordination with construction activities, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful execution on time and within budget.

In some cases, you will also support Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager activities on smaller projects where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate delivery of multiple small to medium capital projects within the site Capex program.

  • Manage program and project budgets, schedules, risks, interdependencies and reporting.

  • Oversee contractors, construction activities and site coordination to ensure safe and compliant execution.

  • Prepare and support Capex proposals, technical documentation, tenders and commissioning activities.

  • Ensure adherence to GxP, Quality, EHS and CSL governance frameworks across all projects.

Experience & Capabilities

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science discipline with 5+ years of experience in an engineering role in support of a large industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or TGA regulated facility.

  • Proven experience managing small-medium scale capital projects from inception to completion including but not limited to creating scope of work, justification, cost estimates, etc.

  • Experience managing construction activities, contractors and site-based execution.

  • Strong understanding of quality systems, risk management and compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with consultants and contractors, while interfacing with multiple departments, working with internal customers to manage projects, policy and procedures.

  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong Office 365 capability.
